EUREKA Group

EUREKA Group started its evolution in Cyprus where in 1959 Xanthos Sarris set-up the company EUREKA Ltd. headquartered in Famagusta. One year later, in 1960, he set-up the second company EUREKA Hellas in Athens.

An important moment in the history of the Group was represented by the complete destruction of the Cypriot company in 1974, following the Turkish invasion. The company succeeded in restarting operation 30 days latter, in Limassol, supporting in this way the efforts of its refugee employees and remaining besides its consumers.

The year 1977 is a landmark for EUREKA Hellas, when it relocated headquarters in Volos, and started to build modern production facilities.

The development of EUREKA Group is characterized by important investments in the field of research and production infrastructure, by strategic collaborations with successful international trade companies, the products of which it distributes in Greece and Cyprus and by continuous enlargement of its activities in new market sectors.

Eureka Group operates on many markets from the region (Romania, Cyprus, Greece, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Moldavia) as well as in other countries from Central Asia.

Presentation of the Group Companies

The central production unit is situated in the industrial area of Volos, and occupies a territory of 22.500 m².

The headquarters of the company is located in Athens (Halandri) and for the optimal serving of its customers from Greece, it has two subunits: one in Acharnes, covering the needs of the consumers from Southern Greece, and the second in Kalohori, Saloniki, for covering the needs of the North Greece market.

The Cypriot company EUREKA Ltd. was the first company of the Group set-up in 1959. In all the years of activity, the company based itself on the trust of the consumers in the quality of its products. Presently, EUREKA Ltd. plays an important commercial role in the field of household and caring products and it is a significant player in the food sector in Cyprus.

The administrative center of the company is in Limassol, where the production plants are located, with the special food unit, on a territory of 1.500 m² and large storage capacities. For optimal covering of the consumers’ needs, the company has an operational subunit in Nicosia on a territory of 1.500 m².
