The first step in ensuring the environmental protection is made in the laboratories of the Research and Development Department of the EUREKA Group, where specialized researchers have advanced equipment and model control procedures and ensure that every product that is made is as inoffensive as possible as it concerns the environment. The experience of the technical staff, as well as the applied quality standards represent guarantees of good quality products, that do not affect the ecologic balance.

At the level of the producing company from Romania, there are several directions of action regarding the reduction of the impact on the environment:

• Management of the packaging wastes - the implemented system ensures a high degree of recovery of the packaging wastes introduced on the national market, achieving and even exceeding the targets for the recovery of the packaging wastes;
• Wastes management – at the level of the company, a selective collection of all the categories of wastes produced (paper and carton wastes, plastic scraps, electric and electronic equipment waste, etc.) and the general trend is limitation as much as possible the generated wastes;
• Carefully selected raw materials – surfactants present in the composition of our products fulfil the conditions of biodegradability imposed by the European regulations in force;
• Treatment of waste waters – Interstar invested more than Euro 110 000 in the construction of a treatment station that should ensure presently an efficient treatment of waste waters resulted from the production activity.
• Environment Investments – every year, our company allocates a consistent budget for the environmental protection systems implemented at the level of the company but also for the development of preventive measures.
